"Not that I don't have times where I'm angry or sassy … I'd rather be more of the hippie country chick — as in, instead of pointing a finger, just maybe saying, 'We're all screw-ups. We're all in this kind of together. We're all just figuring this out.'"

31. Lauren Alaina

Lauren Alaina is another for the list of hottest country singers right now - and on top of being attractive and talented, she's also one to treat her fans with a great Instagram caption pun or two. Her song 'One Beer' is particularly popular in the hot country songs chart in recent years. At 28 years old, she's still only young on the music scene, with hopefully years of good hits ahead of her. She had a rather public breakup from ex John Crist in 2019, and has said to be in a new relationship that she wants to try and keep out of the public eye this time! So she might be hot, but she's off the market, people.

32. Carly Pearce

Country music star Carly Pearce saw huge success with her hit 'Hope You're Happy Now' that she performed with Lee Brice, as well as her own hit 'Next Girl'. The song 'Next Girl' was big enough to rank high in the music charts, too, showing Pearce to be a hot talent in more ways than one! Pearce has previously been married to Michael Ray, though the pair ended up divorcing - very publicly - back in 2020. She's been most recently dating a man named Riley King, who works as a real estate agent, no doubt wanting someone far away from the spotlight of showbiz!

33. Lainey Wilson

Wilson is the amazing voice - and face - behind the hit country song 'Things a Man Oughta Know', which ranked high in the music charts, and even beat successful country artists like Chris Young to the higher music spots. Her single 'Never Say Never' with Cole Swindell also did really well in recent years. Hailing from Louisiana, the young country singer speaks about how important her southern roots are to her, a sentiment she no doubt puts into her music. She's active and open on her social media, but while she hasn't posted about any official dates or relationships yet, she might well be keeping it all private!

34. Gabby Barrett

Gabby Barrett is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to country music! Her songs 'I Hope' and 'The Good Ones' both ranked in the top ten of pretty much every music chart one year, meaning she had not one but two songs up there at the same time. Success! She's only still in her very early 20s, too, so it's exciting to think what the future might hold for this young and beautiful country star. Gabby Barrett has a vocal style very similar to Carrie Underwood - who we know is one of the most impressive names in the country music biz!

35. Tenille Arts

Country singer Tenille Arts had her breakthrough track in 2021 with the song 'Somebody Like That' (and if you haven't listened to it yet, you totally should! We'll wait). It actually did so well as a single that it charted at number 2 position on the charts. Originally from Canada, Tenille has actually been releasing music since 2015 but it was only with her single in 2021 that she really started to get the attention she deserved as a young and beautiful star! It seems she's off the market, though, as she's in a relationship with a man named Tyler Corrado.

36. MacKenzie Porter

MacKenzie Porter has been around the country music scene for a while, but that definitely doesn't mean we're bored of hearing this talented country star who's most definitely easy on the eyes, too. MacKenzie has made it to the number one spot in the music charts a couple of times in Canada, but her big break in America came when she released 'Thinkin' Bout You' on the radio with Dustin Lynch. Hopefully this will mean she releases more music in America as well as Canada and gets more of those number 1 spots!

37. Kane Brown

Kane Brown is an American singer that has the power of social media to thank for that fact that his talents, and good looks, were discovered sooner rather than later! His first EP, Closer, was released in June 2015, and at only 29 years old, the country singer hailing from Tennessee is pretty hot stuff right now! He's also the only music artists to have five number one tracks happening
at the same time
on five different music charts! How's that for talent! His first number one album was Experiment, and it was the second album he'd released.

38. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley

This ones a double whammy for hotties, two for the price of one: these two big names in the country music scene right now, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. This pair became friends in their younger days when they were at college, introduced by a mutual friend, and began to write songs together (the right decision, we're sure you'll agree). What started out as two friends just playing the guitar together later turned into topping the country music charts from Nashville. Their first EP was 'Anything Like Me', and their second was released 2 years later.

39. Jason Aldean

American country music singer Jason Aldean is a pretty big deal in the country music industry - and a hot one at that! He's married to Brittany Kerr, the actress, whom he married in 2015. The pair met after Brittany Kerr had starred on American Idol. Some of Aldean's biggest hits include Dirt Road Anthem, Big Green Tractor and She's Country. At this point, he's released a whopping 10 albums - which is why he's such a big deal - and a whole lot of country singles. He's also been ranked as the seventh highest-earning country musician!

40. Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney is a singer and guitarist on the country movie scene you should definitely be looking out for! With those rugged good looks and charm - and the straw hat to boot - he's one you'll want on Spotify repeat. He has over 20 albums to his names - and successful ones at that - while also having 32 of his songs reach number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He's even got a pretty well known ex-wife to his name - actress Renee Zellweger! The pair were only married for a few months, though, before they got an annulment.

41. Thomas Rhett

Music runs in this hot country star's veins, because his father is a singer, too! Rhett Atkins. Thomas has released six studio albums with no promise of slowing down anytime soon! The 33 year old has also written songs for other big country music stars on this list, showing he's a man of many talents. He's married to Lauren Akins, and they have four children together, one adopted daughter and three natural births. Thomas is also a Christian, and no doubt his faith plays a part in the country music songs he writes!

42. The hottest country songs of all time that you need to listen to right now! Johnny Cash: I Walk The Line

Just in case you need new music to listen to and you're too focused on modern day country music, how about the hottest songs and stars from the classic country scene for a change of pace? Johnny Cash was one of the biggest names - and voices - in the country music industry in the US. I Walk The Line is one of Johnny Cash's biggest hits - and he's had a lot of them - and it was so popular it stayed at the top of the charts for a whopping 43 weeks! When talking about the song, Cash said that it was a "pledge" to his new wife.

43. Dolly Parton: Jolene

This has to be one of the best country songs in existence, not least because it's by the goddess Dolly Parton herself! The power of her vocals combined with the sentiment behind the song as she desperately begs Jolene to please not take her man. It was not only a chart topper on the country music scene but it became so big that it's now known by pretty much every music fan, and is one of the most covered songs by bands of other genres, including The White Stripes. So is Jolene real? Dolly said she was a mashup of a fan she met, and her own bank teller!

44. Charley Pride: Kiss an Angel Good Morning

Not only is Charley Pride a hugely impressive example of country music, but he's also known for breaking down the barriers for colored people in the genre of country music - reason alone to give this song a listen if you've never heard it before! This song in particular has to be one of his greatest hits, and his talent lay with being a supremely talented songwriter and performer, all focus on the barriers aside - he was an impressive talent! This upbeat song is definitely one you'll want to listen to in the morning with a cup of coffee!

45. Tammy Wynette: Stand By Your Man

Up there with Jolene, this has to be one of the most famous country music songs, we bet even with people who don't even know who it's by, they just recognize that 'Stand by your maaaan' warbling line! We've all heard it at some point. It's one of Tammy's best known songs, giving a sad, heartbreaking tune to women who stand by their men, no matter what - even if it's hurting them. Yep. She does throw some feminist ideals in there, too, though - with a message that women shouldn't just submit, and that "after all, he's just a man". You go Tammy.

46. Glen Campbell: Wichita Lineman

It's always interesting to hear the story by how a great song came to be, and with this country music hit, you actually have inspiration coming from an everyday man who probably doesn't even know it's written about him! The writer of the song - who wasn't Campbell himself, but was actually Jimmy Webb - was taking a rural drive through Oklahoma when he spotted a telephone engineer working alone up a pole. It was this that got him to writing Wichita Lineman, which then went on to be performed by Campbell and became a country music classic!

47. Kris Kristofferson: Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down

Bonus points if you listen to this on a relaxing Sunday morning! Kris Kristofferson has often been overlooked as a country music star, but that's not to say that he hasn't shown incredible talent with his songs - and this song in particular is one of the most well-known, and one of the best. The premise of the song is basically a hangover on a Sunday morning - or maybe still drunk, you decide. We've all been there. The song was actually so good that it caught the eye of Johnny Cash, who covered it - and Cash's cover actually went on to be more known than the original!

48. John Denver: Take Me Home Country Roads

Now we all know this one, right? We've all belted it out at a club or two, because it very quickly made its way into the mainstream music charts as well as known in the world of country music, and it's definitely loaded up ready on most karaoke systems for a night out. It's one of those songs that just never gets old. And if you're a fan of the Kingsman movies, who can forget *that* scene when Merlin belts this one out? Classic. The 1971 hit was Denver's ode to West Virginia - as he admits to in the opening line - and it's been covered a bunch of times because it's too darn good!

49. The Highwaymen: Highwayman

You might have heard of Willie Nelson, of course, but you might not have heard much of the band The Highwaymen, which consisted of Nelson along with some other huge country music names: Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson who we just mentioned, and Waylon Jennings. Their hit, Highwayman - creative title from their band name, we know - has to be one of their best offerings as a group, though of course they've had a ton of others you should go listen to, as well. The song has each man sing a verse about his travels, starting with a highwayman and ending with a space explorer!

50. Lucinda Williams: Right in Time

And now might be the right time for you to first discover this song! It took some time for Lucinda Williams to break through and get the recognition she deserved, which she eventually did in the 90s, after working hard since the 70s. Her song Right in Time comes from her fifth album, Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, focusing on a person living alone but thinking wistfully about what their old lover might be doing. If you've never listened to any Lucinda Williams before, go listen to that album - because this is the first track on it!
