1. Dwayne Johnson - 2 world records

In January 2017, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his team of minions set a world record for the largest layered dip. Yes, you read that correctly. The dip was crafted in a 100-gallon fish tank and it took over five hours to create. The dip weighed in at over 540 pounds and was donated to an organization for people struggling or experiencing homelessness. Unfortunately for Dwayne, his record was beaten in 2020 by Bush Beans, who made a 1,087 pound dip (holy moly!). So to make up for that, Dwayne has gone on to post record breaking selfies - just to make sure he's stays in the books!

2. Justin Bieber - Most disliked video online

The Biebs has held a few world records during his time; the most viewed music channel on YouTube; the first music channel viewed three billion times (JustinBieberVEVO); and the youngest solo artist to get five number one US albums. Jeeeez! Not only did he break those records, but he was also the first act ever to hold the top three positions on the UK singles chart with "Love Yourself", "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?" and he ALSO held the world record for the most "disliked" video online with "Baby".

3. Vanna White - Most frequent clapper

We all remember the long time cohost of "Wheel of Fortune" don't we?! Well, she earned quite a random but well deserved place in the record books. Vanna White, the former cohost, holds records for being the most frequent clapper. White clapped an estimated 3,721,446 times over the course of the show's 32 seasons - who on earth sat through all of those episodes to count, I do not know but we move. According to The Guinness World Records, White - who made her first appearance on the show in 1982 - claps an estimated 606 times per show.

4. Beyoncé - Most grammys won by a female artist

OBVIOUSLY Queen Bey had to make an appearance on this list, it just wouldn't feel right if she didn't would it! Beyoncé holds the world records for the most Grammys won in a single year by a female artist and the most Grammy Awards of all time won by a female artist. She really is doing it for the ladies out there! Not only that, but she and husband, Jay-Z also hold a record for the most Grammy Awards won by a married couple. AND (yes, there's another one), Bey holds a record breaking 79 Grammy nominations, which is the most a female artist has ever gotten.

5. Betty White - Longest TV career

Oh Betty White, what a darling she was! Gorgeous inside and out and we miss seeing her on our screens every day. There are generations of us that remember seeing her on our TV screens growing up which is also why she made her way into the Guinness Book of World Records. She holds the record for the female entertainer with the longest TV career ever. Betty White's career began in 1939 meaning she acted for over 80 years with some amazing and memorable roles in shows like "The Golden Girls", "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "The Carol Burnett Show".

6. BTS - Record breaking music video

K-pop sensation and super popular band, BTS is known worldwide. In fact, they're probably one of the most popular bands around at this moment. But what you may not have know is that the group holds the record for the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours thanks to their hit "Boy With Luv" featuring Halsey. The video racked up a whopping 74,600,000 views over the space of 24 hours back in 2019. They also beat their own record a year later, with their video for "Dynamite" which got 101,000,000 views.

7. Snoop Dogg - Mixing up the world's largest cocktail

Snoop Doggy Dogg won the world record for mixing up the world's largest paradise cocktail - bit of a random one really! How big would this cocktail need to be though for him to have beaten a world record?! Well, the cocktail contained 180 1.75-liter bottles of gin, 156 1-liter bottles of apricot brandy and 28 3.78-liter jugs of orange juice making it the world's largest paradise cocktail which was mixed by Snoop Dogg in 2018. Thankfully, the drink didn't go to waste and was later distributed to VIPs at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival in California.

8. Eminem - Most words in a hit song

Back in 2013, the one and only Eminem set the world record for the most words in a hit song with "Rap God". So, how many words did he actually rap to break the record you ask? Well, in a 15 second segment, the rapper says 97 words and in the entire song he actually says 1,560 words in six minutes and four seconds. WOW! He not only holds the record for the most words sand in a rap but he also holds the record for most successive US no.1 albums by a solo artist with six albums.

9. Pharrell Williams - The longest music video ever

Pharrell broke a record with the world's longest music video made with the song "happy" which is 24 hours long - it's no wonder we had the song going round and round in our minds on a loop. The song plays on loop over 300 times with dancers and celebrities performing and lip-syncing throughout it. Unfortunately, for Pharrell, the record was broken again in 2020 when the band 21 pilots made a video that lasted 177 days, 16 hours, 10 minutes and 25 seconds long with the song "Level of Concern". Urghhh, why?!

Another Queen to appear on this list is Ariana Grande, who in 2019 dethroned Selena Gomez as the most followed woman on Instagram. For a long time Selena Gomez was top of the Instagram followers list, until the likes of Ronaldo, Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande took over. Grande has actually broken 20 Guinness world records, one of them being the most streamed track in one week by a female artist on the Billboard Charts with "Thank U, Next" and the most streams on Spotify in one year by a female with "7 rings".

11. Cristiano Ronaldo - Being the most followed person on Instagram

For a long time, Selena Gomez reigned as the most followed person on Instagram. She held the title for multiple years actually, until celebrities like Ronaldo and Kylie Jenner dethroned her. Selena is actually still the most followed female in the world on Instagram, however, Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo is the most followed person on Instagram with 590 million followers. The only account with more followers on Instagram, is Instagram itself. Ronaldo is probably the most famous person in the world as well.

The "Fast and Furious" legend, Vin Diesel sadly lost a good friend when actor, Paul Walker died in an unfortunate car accident. The pair were extremely close friends before and throughout their time filming the "fast and furious" movies. When Paul passed away in November 2013, stars and friends of the actor shared tributes of him, but the one that Vin Diesel posted on Facebook quickly became the most "liked" item on Facebook. The actor, producer and stunt coordinator has held the record for most stunts done by a living actor and still hasn't been beaten since 2012. He's appeared in over 100 films since the beginning of his career in 1972 and has suffered quite a few injuries throughout, a broken nose, broken cheekbones and a broken skull. It's a surprise he's carried on with his career after all of that pain!

Kacey Musgraves not only appears in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, but she also broke a Guinness World Record for the World's largest display of coloring pages. Yes, you read that correctly. So random! The display appeared in the museum's "Kacey Musgraves: All of the Colors" exhibition, which included 1,550 coloring pages AND it weighed 500 pounds. Unfortunately for Kacey, her record was beaten in January by P&G China and Yonghui Superstores which broke the record with 3,159 pages.

WWE champion, Randy Orton has won 10 WWE Championship titles amongst other awards and accolades, however, this was his first Guinness World Record. Randy made his 177th pay-per-view appearance at Survivor Series 2021, surpassing Kane's record for most WWE PPV appearances as a male. Natalya also set the record for the most PPV appearances as a female with 68. Randy made his debut appearance in 2003 at the SummerSlam where he participated in a six man elimination chamber match which was won by Triple H.

Billie Eilish's second studio album, Happier than Ever, became the most pre-added album on Apple music meaning she broke a world record with her second album. Quite an achievement really! 1.028 million people pre-added her album ahead of its release. Her first album was pre-added 800,000+ times in 2019 which was later dethroned by The Weeknd's After Hours album in 2020. Billie, however, went on to break another record in 2019 when she became the youngest Glastonbury Festival headliner in history.

She set the record in September 2021 with 64,966,102 and as of December 2021 the number increased to 66,686,104. Again, she broke another record for selling the most tickets sold for a livestreamed concert by a solo female artist selling 284,000 tickets worldwide for her Studio 2054 concert. Dua's career has grown from strength to strength so it comes as no surprise to hear how well she's actually doing.

BLACKPINK bandmate Lisa released her first solo single titled "LaLisa" which smashed her fellow bandmate, Rosé's record for most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist with 73.6 million hits. K-Pop has become a hugely successful music genre all across the globe, so this really doesn't come as a surprise to us. It also became the most viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours, getting over 12 million more views than the previous record, which was set by Taylor Swift with "ME".

William Shatner set another record for being 'the oldest...' when he went where no other 90 year old has been before...At the age of 90 years and 205 days, William Shatner became the oldest person in space (male). During his 11 minute journey in the New Shephard suborbital spacecraft, Shatner went past the Kármán Line which is the internationally recognised boundary of space before coming right back down to earth again. Safe and sound. This won him the record as the oldest male to ever go into space.

One Directions, Louis Tomlinson broke the record for the most tickets sold for a live streamed concert by a solo male artist. Tomlinson started his solo career in 2020 with his debut album Walls. He went on to sell 160,000 tickets worldwide for his 2020 Live from London charity concert where he performed 18 songs during the virtual event which took place in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic which shook the world. The oldest person to have ever been verified by Guinness World Records was a lady called Jeanne Calment, who lived to the ripe old age of 122 years old (plus the extra 164 days after her 122nd birthday!).
