In January 2017, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his team of minions set a world record for the largest layered dip. Yes, you read that correctly. The dip was crafted in a 100-gallon fish tank and it took over five hours to create. The dip weighed in at over 540 pounds and was donated to an organization for people struggling or experiencing homelessness. Unfortunately for Dwayne, his record was beaten in 2020 by Bush Beans, who made a 1,087 pound dip (holy moly!). So to make up for that, Dwayne has gone on to post record breaking selfies - just to make sure he's stays in the books!

The Biebs has held a few world records during his time; the most viewed music channel on YouTube; the first music channel viewed three billion times (JustinBieberVEVO); and the youngest solo artist to get five number one US albums. Jeeeez! Not only did he break those records, but he was also the first act ever to hold the top three positions on the UK singles chart with "Love Yourself", "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?" and he ALSO held the world record for the most "disliked" video online with "Baby".

We all remember the long time cohost of "Wheel of Fortune" don't we?! Well, she earned quite a random but well deserved place in the record books. Vanna White, the former cohost, holds records for being the most frequent clapper. White clapped an estimated 3,721,446 times over the course of the show's 32 seasons - who on earth sat through all of those episodes to count, I do not know but we move. According to The Guinness World Records, White - who made her first appearance on the show in 1982 - claps an estimated 606 times per show.

She really is doing it for the ladies out there! Not only that, but she and husband, Jay-Z also hold a record for the most Grammy Awards won by a married couple. AND (yes, there's another one), Bey holds a record breaking 79 Grammy nominations, which is the most a female artist has ever gotten.

Oh Betty White, what a darling she was! Gorgeous inside and out and we miss seeing her on our screens every day. There are generations of us that remember seeing her on our TV screens growing up which is also why she made her way into the Guinness Book of World Records. She holds the record for the female entertainer with the longest TV career ever. Betty White's career began in 1939 meaning she acted for over 80 years with some amazing and memorable roles in shows like "The Golden Girls", "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "The Carol Burnett Show".

K-pop sensation and super popular band, BTS is known worldwide. In fact, they're probably one of the most popular bands around at this moment. But what you may not have know is that the group holds the record for the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours thanks to their hit "Boy With Luv" featuring Halsey. The video racked up a whopping 74,600,000 views over the space of 24 hours back in 2019. They also beat their own record a year later, with their video for "Dynamite" which got 101,000,000 views.

Snoop Doggy Dogg won the world record for mixing up the world's largest paradise cocktail - bit of a random one really! How big would this cocktail need to be though for him to have beaten a world record?! Well, the cocktail contained 180 1.75-liter bottles of gin, 156 1-liter bottles of apricot brandy and 28 3.78-liter jugs of orange juice making it the world's largest paradise cocktail which was mixed by Snoop Dogg in 2018. Thankfully, the drink didn't go to waste and was later distributed to VIPs at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival in California.

Well, in a 15 second segment, the rapper says 97 words and in the entire song he actually says 1,560 words in six minutes and four seconds. WOW! He not only holds the record for the most words sand in a rap but he also holds the record for most successive US no.1 albums by a solo artist with six albums.

Pharrell broke a record with the world's longest music video made with the song "happy" which is 24 hours long - it's no wonder we had the song going round and round in our minds on a loop. The song plays on loop over 300 times with dancers and celebrities performing and lip-syncing throughout it. Unfortunately, for Pharrell, the record was broken again in 2020 when the band 21 pilots made a video that lasted 177 days, 16 hours, 10 minutes and 25 seconds long with the song "Level of Concern". Urghhh, why?!

Another Queen to appear on this list is Ariana Grande, who in 2019 dethroned Selena Gomez as the most followed woman on Instagram. For a long time Selena Gomez was top of the Instagram followers list, until the likes of Ronaldo, Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande took over. Grande has actually broken 20 Guinness world records, one of them being the most streamed track in one week by a female artist on the Billboard Charts with "Thank U, Next" and the most streams on Spotify in one year by a female with "7 rings".

For a long time, Selena Gomez reigned as the most followed person on Instagram. She held the title for multiple years actually, until celebrities like Ronaldo and Kylie Jenner dethroned her. Selena is actually still the most followed female in the world on Instagram, however, Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo is the most followed person on Instagram with 590 million followers. The only account with more followers on Instagram, is Instagram itself. Ronaldo is probably the most famous person in the world as well.

Over the course of his career, he has earned himself the title after the 2020 Academy Awards where he was nominated for the ninth time for directing "The Irishman". William Shatner set another record for being 'the oldest...' when he went where no other 90 year old has been before...At the age of 90 years and 205 days, William Shatner became the oldest person in space (male). During his 11 minute journey in the New Shephard suborbital spacecraft, Shatner went past the Kármán Line which is the internationally recognised boundary of space before coming right back down to earth again.
