1. Inside her glam $20 million home

The Kardashian matriarch has always been known for her extravagant and luxurious taste in homes but this customised $20 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California is just breathtaking. Kris Jenner began building this home next door to daughter Khloe's customised home a few years back. Finally finished, she flaunted the beautiful mansion on season one of The Kardashians on Hulu, which premiered last year. The stunning property covers 16,5000 square feet so let's take a look inside her gorgeous home.

When the property was purchased, Kris immediately started work on creating her perfect home alongside Khloe's. Both of their homes were originally part of a single estate and Kris' home now has eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an eight-car garage, a gym, office, pool, spa, cinema room and a guest home on the grounds as well. Not only is this home enormous but it also hosts some beautiful stand-out features like a piano room and a 'dish' room. Because why wouldn't you have your own room for your fancy dishes?

3. The Kitchen

The kitchen cabinets were covered in Farrow & Ball paint and the custom stools were upholstered in de Le Cuona linen. Talking about how fabulously crafted Kris and her daughter's home are, she explained how the girls don't have any rivalry when it comes to the decor of their homes as they all have such different taste. “There’s zero rivalry when it comes to houses. We’re very fortunate to live in close proximity, and we all enjoy each other’s homes. I’m incredibly proud that the kids have discovered their own identities and passions.”

4. The Dining Area

Legendary designer, Fernandes talked about how he chose certain items and furnishings for Kris' home, "This house was a great opportunity for her to express her love of art and design. We trusted and respected each other’s taste, so it’s not like anyone was going to bring something hideous to the table. Working together allowed us to approach the project from a fresh perspective.” Kris' new but not so humble abode has featured in Architectural Digest amongst other home decor magazines and there's no wonder why!

5. The Dish room

Kourtney's website Poosh, gave the first look at Kris' 'dish room', which is an walk-in closet full of pristine and well displayed fine china. Look close and you'll see no less than six sets of Hermes, one Gucci Herbarium set in green, a custom set with images of the Kardashians on and a full set of Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica porcelain pieces. Ooh La La! A lot o Kris' dishes have been hand painted and some of the plates have been sold at Christie's for $62,500. Can you imagine how much money has been poured into this damn dish room?!

6. The Wall Decor

The walls are covered in little pops of color which are introduced through the artworks on the walls. The Yoshimoto Nara painting on the dining room wall is a favorite of Kris's along with the Yves Klein Blue Venus which is seen in the great room. Another favorite is the neon sculpture that is seen in the hallways of the ground floor. Jenner explained to Architectural Digest, “The art was waiting for this house to happen,”. The home has been seen on the new season of The Kardashians with a few new added extras.

7. The Statement Refrigerator

Over the years, we've seen the inside of every Kardashian/Jenner home, and each and every one of them has their own unique kitchen trends. Their seriously organized pantries are enough to make us feel like we need to completely gut outs and let's not get started on Khloe's infamous cookie jars. But Kris' new refrigerator with matte black doors are full of greenery and when I say greenery I mean purely green veg, including herbs, asparagus, artichokes, lettuce and avocados. Maybe she took inspiration from eldest daughter Kourtney with her ultra healthy kitchen addition.

8. The Crystal Cabinet

Kris' kids love to talk about their mother's affinity for Martinis, we've all seen Kris a few sheets to the wind on their show and there are plenty of photos of the momager sipping from her stylish glassware. This well stocked bar has multiple cocktail shakers and what looks like William-Sonoma martini glasses as well as a mirrored cabinet stocked with a set of Baccarat crystal. Jenner posted a photo of this in 2018 with the caption, “Everything tastes better in Baccarat.” There are also videos of the famous mom showing you her perfect martini recipe, if you want the full experience.

9. The Drinks Table

Everything does taste better in Baccarat glass, she's definitely right with that one. Kris has two small drinks tables in her living room to make sure she always has a little spot to pop her Baccarat glassware down. The extremely luxurious drinks tables serve a very important purpose and the attention to detail for both of these drinks tables is quite impressive. It just goes to show how much love Kris has poured into this house, just pure love and dedication. She's never too far from her beloved martinis!

10. The Skirted Chair

During an interview with Architectural Digest, Kris talked about how she has been collecting furniture for her dream home for years, “I’ve been collecting furniture and making houses for a lifetime. I’ve had so many different types of homes in so many different styles,” Jenner recalls. “In the ’80s, my bedroom looked like a lavender-chintz supplier threw up all over it. Robert Kardashian was such a good sport,” she added.

11. The Garden

Talking about her beautiful home, “I had complete faith in the designers. When it was time for the big reveal, I walked into the house and cried. Every single space gives me pleasure. Every time you turn a corner, you find something beautiful, something delicious,” she says. “I truly can’t wait to come home every day.”

12. The Desk Area

After living in the fast lane for many years, Kris has admitted to craving a more chilled, simpler life away from Hollywood. “I don’t enjoy going out as much as I used to. My job is so hectic and chaotic. I’m always running a million miles an hour. I wanted my home to feel like a sanctuary, perfectly calm and peaceful,” she explains. This area is a far cry from her last home office, which was featured on the older episodes of KUWTK. She said she wanted this new office to be tranquil and peaceful - it sure is!

13. The Office Displays

In her hallway and office you will see saved magazines with her daughters featuring on all of the covers of them. Particularly supermodel daughter, Kendall Jenner. This antique bench can be seen alongside a piece of Hunt Slonem artwork - one of the many pieces of the unique pieces of artwork seen around Jenner's home. The piece - which is about "the lucky aspect of rabbits" - was named "Three Wishes" and was bought after Jenner attended Hunt's exhibit at Madison Gallery in La Jolla.

14. The Great Room

Kris Jenner's 'Great Room' is all light, ease and happiness, it's just giving seriously 'zen' vibes. Looking out onto the garden and pool area this room has massive sliding glass doors on one side and the kitchen and breakfast area on the other. The Kerry Joyce fabric custom sofas and chairs are called 'fuzzy wuzzy', which just add to the coziness of this monochromatic room. The furnishings in the room are largely upholstered in silk, suede, alpaca, sheepskin and other luxurious and costly coverings.

15. Poolside

The zero edge pool by the grand room and dining room. The property is enormous so as you can probably imagine, the swimming pool area has plenty of outdoor seating and sun beds so Kris can enjoy her days off (I can't imagine she takes many) in the Californian sunshine. In this garden Kris has a BBQ and an al fresco dining area - which is seen in one of the scenes in last season of The Kardashians on HULU - which is a great alternative for the more formal dining area inside.

16. The Terrace

The natural wood flooring merges with the white walls inside and the earthy tones of the upholstery and accents of brass, concrete, pottery and artwork indoors and outdoors showcase this contemporary home. Kris' terrace chairs and table are made from recycled concrete and metal - which surely cannot be too comfortable to sit on. The space outside of her dining room gives relaxing and tranquil vibes, following the mood from the rest of the home.

17. The Home Theater

It's not a Hollywood home without a home theatre really is it! Definitely one of the most popular rooms in the house, Kris' home theater room is ideal for those cooler winter nights when she can't sit outdoors around her beautiful pool area. Travis and Kourtney are seen in the home theater room in last season of The Kardashians. The tranquil soon even has a popcorn maker and a large cinema-style screen with an enormous sofa.

18. The Bar Area

‘Like being surrounded by absolute opulence and a dirty martini in a crystal glass covered in diamonds… and fabulous s**t everywhere,’ Khloe says in confession on The Kardashians. Kris goes on to say, ‘My favorite thing in the world is to be with my family. As time goes by, I realize I really want to spend more time with my kids whenever I can. We’re all so busy, so crazy, and the days go by so fast, so this, to me, is heaven.’

19. The Living Room Fireplace

Fans of the show will always remember Kris' Calabasas home, with the black and white tiled hallway and the relatively dark and moody looking furnishings. So this new home couldn't be more opposite. It's almost like she's done a complete 180 with the furnishings. During an interview with AD, she shared her love for fireplaces, “fireplaces are really important to me”. This custom fireplace looks like a work of art all in itself making this room the perfect spot to relax.

20. The Chaise Longue in the Master Bedroom

Kris' favorite pieces around the house include the custom designed furniture found in her master bedroom. This home has a 'sanctuary' feel to it, which is exactly what Kris wanted when she designed it. "

I'm always running a million miles an hour. I wanted my home to feel like a sanctuary, perfectly calm and peaceful," she explained. "I've been collecting furniture and making houses for a lifetime. I've had so many different types of homes in so many different styles."

21. The Master Bedroom

The room was decorated in neutral tones, with dove grey walls displayed with artwork. The bed featured a cream throw and tan blanket draped over the top of it with two bedside tables on either side of it. Fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg spent a morning with Kris admiring her new home, posting a picture of the pair in the room together. Kris replied, "Spent the morning with this amazing Icon in my bedroom!!!! What an amazing beautiful woman and friend who is definitely #InCharge ... love you DVF,"

22. The Master Closet

The self-proclaimed momager and matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner clan has always had impeccable taste, but this closet just shows how much thought and effort she put into her new closet. This closet makeup will go down in history, for sure! Kris Jenner and Jeff Andrews worked together on Million Dollar Closets to make sure that the star got exactly what she was looking for out of her closet (which is probably the same size as most of our apartments btw!) It's not even a walk-in closet, it's more like an entire home for her clothes, bags and shoes.

23. The Glam Room

Kris not only has an enormous bathroom big enough to fit a huge bath, a walk in shower and a seating area where she can do her makeup in the morning but she also has her very own glam room and has had her own glam room in every house she has owned. Each of her glam rooms have always been covered with prints of magazine covers with her daughters on the front. Showing off just how proud she is of her kids, her glam room is her sanctuary where she often has her 'down time' before her busy days begin.

24. The Master Bathroom

The all ready out-of-this-world master bedroom leads off onto the master bathroom which even has a little area for Kris to get glammed up for her TV or red carpet appearances. The master bathroom also has a vanity area with a large mirror and a separate monsoon shower cubicle and free-standing bathtub which overlooks her beautiful gardens and grounds. Look at how relaxing it must be to just sit and soak in that bathtub.

25. The Hallway

Her hallway is somewhat a tranquil area, following on with the theme of the house, the wooden flooring and table and chairs give off a very earthy feel a lot like the rest of the house. When you compare it to her previous home it's almost polar opposites. We all remember her memorable black and white checkered flooring in the hallway of her Calabasas family mansion, which featured on 11 seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians it's a far cry now. A lot less bling and just chilled. It's gorgeous!

26. The Breakfast Area

The breakfast area is nestled away in the corner of the gorgeous kitchen area - the famous kitchen area where we saw Kendall's attempt at cutting a cucumber - what a disaster. Anyway, back to the breakfast area...the table and chairs look out at Kris' tranquil gardens making it the perfect dining space for the morning meal. Imagine waking up in this house every day, walking down stairs to that immaculately organised fridge and cooking yourself a nice healthy breakfast. It's what dreams are made of!

27. The Home Gym

The home gym is basically a proper gym but even fancier and with no sweaty, weird men staring at you. Ideal really. The Kardashians have always had home gyms that you could only dream of having and they're always in them at the crack of dawn. Now Khloe and her mom, Kris live side by side (well next to each other) they spend a lot of their mornings training together in their home gyms. It's a great way for the pair to spend time together between their busy schedules and it's normally a 4am wake up call as well.

28. The Incredible Doors

I don't know about you, but I'm not sure how safe I would feel with completely glass doors, but who are we to judge this multimillionaire in her mansion? I'm sure Kris Jenner has 24 hour security on her home at all times so the likelihood of anyone being able to break into her home would be slim to none, but still. The thought of walking past those glass doors at night is enough to give us nightmares. They are beautiful though, so no hate here! We're only jealous!

29. The Backyard Tables

In a scene in series two of The Kardashians, we see Scott, Kris and Kendall all talk about the Travis and Kourtney situation around Kris' garden table but when we saw table it's more the size of a football pitch. This thing is enormous, beautiful but enormous. But I suppose when you have that many kids and grandkids you would need to have a table of that size just to fit everyone around it. Kris chose this table so she could host evening dinners outdoors and have a space where she and the family could congregate. Something we see happening a lot on their show.

30. The beautiful new home

After months of planning and construction, Kris finally opened the doors to her home to her family and friends. A home that's situated next door to her daughter Khloe's newly built mansion. The pair threw a housewarming at Kris' new abode, Kourtney, Travis, Khloe, Kris' friend Faye Resnick and others joined Jenner at her beautiful home and fans have since seen how much love and effort she has put into her new home. Talking about her dish room, 'Perfect. Oh my God, Kris,' Faye says, as Kris replies, 'I know, it's my dream.' ‘I have goosebumps everywhere. This is absolutely out of this world,’ Faye says.

31. Things you need to know about Kris Jenner: she had an alcoholic father

Not only did Kris grow up with an alcoholic father, but he also abandoned her family when she was only 7 year old. Did this make her more determined to raise a loving family of her own when she grew up? Kris was originally born in San Diego, and she was left with her younger sister to be raised with just their mother, Mary Jo, until her mother remarried after her father left.

32. She had her sights on 'the good life'

Shockingly, Kris was only 17 years old when she got with an older man - at 29 years old - who was a professional golfer. And that man was Cesar Sanudo! Even though the pair moved in together, Cesar began to suspect Kris wasn't being faithful to him... and she wasn't!

35. She cheated on him with Rob Kardashian

One person we know Kris ended up with was of course her lawyer husband, Robert Kardashian. But she first hooked up with Robert while she was still seeing golfer Sanudo. Whilst he was away playing for a golf tournament, Kris was in their home with Robert Kardashian - and when the tournament unexpectedly got cut short, who did Sanudo walk in on at home? Yikes!

During this time, she had a job as a flight attendant making around $500 a month, and the photographer took snaps of her in her attendant uniform. As most people know, Robert Kardashian was O.J. Simpson's lawyer in his trial, and Kris was good friends with O.J., as well as with his wife Nicole Simpson. But there were actually rumors that Kris was more than friends with O.J, and it even went so far as speculation that O.J. could actually be the real father of Khloe Kardashian! Robert was convinced Khloe was not his child, but it never went further than speculation.

43. Kris wasted no time on Bruce Jenner

Kris went from a woman saying she didn't want to work much and find a 'sugar daddy' to happily taking on all the responsibilities for a broke Bruce Jenner (at the time) who didn't have much of a professional future, or so it seemed. Her divorce wasn't even finalized when she decided to move in with Bruce, and told him that she'd take care of things and that he would be rich and famous!

During his lifetime, Robert Kardashian kept a collection of journals, in which he also spoke about Kris and what he thought about her 'lacking maternal instincts'. After his death, Robert's widow began to sell a few of his things, including the personal diaries. Kris sued her, claiming that the diaries were property of his children, and not her. She was also probably a little miffed about the information included in there about her!

45. Did Kris have a role in getting the Kim tape out there?

Before anybody really knew who Kim Kardashian was, she was trying to get on the famous socialite ladder - and suddenly, that dream came true (though maybe not in the way she'd imagined) when a certain tape leaked of Kim with her ex partner. There have actually been rumors that Kris had a hand in getting the tape out there in order to get fame for Kim - which worked either way!

46. Kris is considered more of a manager than a mom

And Kris has had quite a bit of work done, including a boob job she had after she had kids back in the 80s, and more work that's quite clearly been done on her face.
